DecisiveInstincts, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support national security missions by leveraging data science and analytics expertise to solve complex problems.
Requirements
- High proficiency in Python
- Demonstrated expertise in data science, data analytics, machine learning, or statistical analysis
Responsibilities
- Lead and/or design machine learning (ML), statistical, and data analysis efforts.
- Perform and/or customize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to aggregate and prepare data from multiple repositories for analysis.
- Interpret data, identify key features and model variables, assess model quality, and suggest or implement remediation strategies.
- Innovate new methods for handling, analyzing, and managing large-scale data and datasets.
- Explore core issues related to data search, handling, and retention.
- Design and develop new software solutions to enhance data search and processing.
- Test and validate data quality and processing pipelines.
Other
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Collaborate with national security investigators and analysts to understand data science needs, recommend solutions, and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Communicate analysis results and provide actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Information Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field OR Four (4) years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
