Pratt & Whitney's Hot Section Module Center (HSMC) is seeking a data scientist to join their Digital Transformation (DTx) team to improve how the organization uses data, providing digital products and analytics that increase the velocity of information flow and enable access to advanced analytics.
Requirements
- Demonstrated practical experience with SQL and Python
- Demonstrated practical experience building and deploying statistical models
- Experience with time series data
- Experience with SAP and Solumina
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Databricks
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders across functional areas to understand key processes, data sources, and requirements.
- Conduct exploratory analysis of business and manufacturing process data, focusing on our most challenging and complex datasets.
- Develop, test, deploy, and validate statistical models
- Work closely with the Digital Technology team to ensure data infrastructure meets organizational needs
- Create documentation and standard work for deployed models.
