Corvus Consulting, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to analyze, interpret, and model Census Bureau Data and other federal datasets to support mission-focused solutions, leveraging statistical models and data visualizations for data-driven decision-making from complex federal datasets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or systems engineering.
  • Proven experience with Census Bureau Data.
  • Strong skills in Python, R, SQL, and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data science initiatives to analyze, interpret, and model Census Bureau Data and other federal datasets to support mission-focused solutions.
  • Leverage statistical and data models to gain insights for complex demographic and socioeconomic concepts.
  • Mine, analyze, and interpret structured and unstructured Census Bureau datasets to identify trends, correlations, and insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop predictive models, simulations, and algorithms to forecast patterns and support statistical analysis.
  • Perform ETL processes to integrate and validate data from multiple Census and federal data sources.
  • Visualize findings through dashboards, reports, and knowledge graph queries (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, application, or data workflow problems.

  • Ability to obtain an OPM Public Trust
  • Provide leadership for data engineering and analytics teams, including policy/process development, technical mentoring, and documentation.
