Improve the effectiveness and overall outcomes of the Global Strategic Accounts Execution group at Vertiv through advanced statistical and machine learning models
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with architecture and design in Power BI along with data analysis, business intelligence, simulation, and optimization
- Experience working with a programmatic statistical language like Python or R
- Experience working with SQL and a large data platform like Snowflake or Hadoop
- Exposure to and proficiency in a broad range of analytics methods and how to deploy them in real-world applications
- Attention to detail in execution
- Advanced architect skills with Power BI
Responsibilities
- Develop processes to support advanced analytics and data driven decision making processes
- Provide consultative and direct support to assist the development of foundational analytics capabilities to accelerate and leverage advanced analyses
- Implement best practices in model development, recommend appropriate models for business needs, support business review processes with effective visualizations and automate processes where needed
- Communicate complex topics to senior and regional leaders and build strong relationships and data/model confidence at all levels of the sales organization
- Mentor others to promote a culture of collaborative growth and continuous learning and improvement

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Operations Research, or Statistics
- 0-5% travel time required
