The Krazy Coupon Lady (KCL) is looking to shape its data-driven strategy by transforming raw information into meaningful insights and predictive models to impact business decisions and drive the organization toward its strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL, AWS, Python, or R.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve varied and complex problems independently.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Data & Generate Insights – Dive into large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform strategic planning.
  • Develop Predictive Models & Algorithms – Build, refine, and optimize models that support decision-making across the organization.
  • Apply Statistical Modeling & Machine Learning – Leverage advanced techniques to solve challenging business problems and drive innovation.
  • Visualize & Communicate Results – Create compelling data visualizations and reports to clearly present complex findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work with teams in engineering, marketing, operations, and product to ensure data initiatives align with company objectives.
  • Mentor & Share Knowledge – Help develop team capabilities by sharing best practices and providing guidance to other data team members
  • Innovate & Evolve – Stay on top of emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously enhance our data science practices.

Other

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science) or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in data science or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset and desire to work across departments and mentor others.
  • Use of Fingers: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
