C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to leverage data science, including large language models (LLMs), to uncover predictions, drive real-time recommendations, and automate business tasks within the logistics industry, ultimately disrupting the industry with advanced technology.
Requirements
- Familiarity with transfer learning & large language models
- Experience transforming datasets to improve model performance
- Experience training neural networks, especially as it relates to transfer learning
- Experience in programming: Python or R
- Familiarity with data fundamentals including SQL
- Familiarity with Azure-ML Platform
- Experience with PyTorch and/or Tensorflow
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and understand current & nascent modelling methods in the Data Science space
- Maintain, expand, and ensure the data quality of natural language
- Train and evaluate Large Language Models on a variety of topics
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver new Natural Language Processing & Artificial Intelligence products
- Develop new features for existing algorithms through statistical and machine learning methodologies
- Validate and implement modeling improvements to increase accuracy of data science Algorithms
- Work closely with Tech delivery teams to productionize successful models in an on-demand environment
Other
- 2+ years of experience in advanced analytics, machine learning and/or data science or one year of professional experience with an advanced degree (Masters or PhD)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
- Embrace an R&D mindset through Rapid Prototyping & Iterative Experimentation
