The company is looking to solve the problem of cryptocurrency fraud and financial crime by developing advanced analytics products to detect, prevent, and mitigate these threats.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL)
- Proven experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience developing code in a team environment (e.g. git, notebooks, testing)
- Experience building scalable data and analytics products from design to deployment phases
- Knowledge of distributed ledger technologies, cryptographic protocols, and transactional data
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of new advanced analytics products that allow customers to explore and uncover hidden insights through complex blockchain data
- Develop complex statistical analysis, algorithms, and interactive visualizations to detect new threat vectors unique to cryptocurrencies and blockchains
- Collaborate with engineers and research scientists to design algorithms to analyze complex data structures inherent to cryptocurrencies and blockchains
- Develop scalable data and analytics products from design to deployment phases
- Build complex products effectively with tight timeframes
- Work on several projects in parallel with different priorities and stakeholders
- Establish best practices and statistical rigor around data-driven decision-making

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under tight deadlines

- 8+ years of experience working in an analytical role
- Ability to work with a globally distributed team and overlap with PST business hours
