Significance, Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions within the Advana Mercury environment to support audit remediation, reconciliation, automated reporting, and enterprise inventory management.
Requirements
- Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Strong experience integrating AI/ML into ERP systems, BI dashboards, and financial systems
- Proficiency with cloud-native deployments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with audit remediation, reconciliation, or ERP financial modules
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards (IL4/IL5, NIST 800-53, FISMA)
- Experience building RAG-enabled LLM solutions in Advana or other government enclaves
- Prior leadership of cross-functional AI/ML delivery teams
Responsibilities
- Leads the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions within the Advana Mercury environment
- Architects end-to-end pipelines
- Ensures compliance with DoD standards
- Mentors junior staff to strengthen analytic capabilities across the enterprise
- Integrating AI/ML into ERP systems, BI dashboards, and financial systems
- Cloud-native deployments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Building RAG-enabled LLM solutions in Advana or other government enclaves

- Active Secret clearance
- Primarily remote schedule with occasional on-site work in New Cumberland, PA
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional data science experience, with 5+ years supporting federal or DoD programs.
- Ph.D. in a related discipline.
