Enova is looking to develop, enhance, and test models for determining lending criteria and verification procedures, and to independently dive into open-ended problems to present recommendations to executives and actively manage pricing and credit models that power Enova's business.
Requirements
- Advanced programming skills and the ability to write customized programs for meaningful data analysis and predictive modeling (Python)
- Experience working with relational databases, such as SQL
- Excellent knowledge in applied statistical methods and machine learning models
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine proprietary models to assess customer credit profile
- Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to evaluate the performance of our models, analyzing outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior management, providing a data-driven perspective on customer risk and product development strategies
- Independently dive into open-ended problems in order to present recommendations to executives
- Actively manage the pricing and credit models that power Enova’s business
- Interpret and organize data, and communicate it effectively to cross functional teams to solve business problems, provide requirements, and support implementation

- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or a related industry preferred
