The Senior Data Scientist I role is needed to be the analytical engine behind the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, optimizing customer attraction, engagement, and conversion, and ensuring a healthy and efficient sales pipeline.
Requirements
- Excellent SQL & Python skills
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and statistical skills
- Experience working with a B2B sales pipeline and revenue data at a company like Shopify, Amazon, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, or the like.
- Experience in Looker, Hex, and dbt
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain our lead scoring models to help prioritize sales efforts and surface the highest-intent prospects.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance and develop models to optimize spend and improve efficiency across all channels.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of our marketing and sales funnel to identify conversion bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with Rev Ops to enhance data infrastructure and build a robust measurement framework for all GTM activities.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to marketing and sales leadership to inform strategy and tactics.
- Have experience turning vague business problems into statistical rigorous analyses & solutions (e.g. causal inference, predictive modeling)
- You have demonstrated success in building models for lead scoring, sales funnel optimization, marketing mix modeling, or attribution.
Other
- Experience (4+ years) in a data science or analytics role with a focus on marketing, sales, or GTM analytics.
- A strong understanding of the B2B marketing and sales funnel.
- Strong senses of autonomy and ownership
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver value is cross-functional setting
- Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists
