LexisNexis is looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist I to leverage advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from complex data sets, develop and implement innovative algorithms to drive business decisions and enhance predictive modeling, and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.

- Be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Responsibilities
- Leading and conducting advanced data analysis to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Conducting in-depth analysis and interpretation of results to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

- Master’s degree plus 4-6 years experience OR PhD with 3+ years experience
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience.
- Be a natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues.
- Have experience in leading complex projects and customer relationships.
- Have substantial experience in a Data Scientist role.
