Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience building models and applying experimentation concepts to strategic decisions.
- Strong understanding of A/B testing and causal inference principles — able to guide teams on interpretation, limitations, and strategic implications.
- Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy to data-driven execution and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Translation: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable data science initiatives.
- Modeling & Forecasting: Build and apply models that forecast business outcomes, evaluate scenarios, and inform strategic choices.
- Experimentation Strategy: Provide guidance on experimentation frameworks — advising on design considerations, interpreting results, and helping teams think critically about pricing, customer behavior, and growth experiments.
- Predictive Analytics: Develop predictive models that forecast business performance and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a strategic thought partner to research, marketing, finance, product, and data engineering teams, building alignment and driving data-informed decision-making.
- Communication: Translate complex analysis into compelling stories and insights that resonate with senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science); advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, strategy, or analytics roles, ideally including time in consulting or a strategy-focused capacity.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and connect data to strategic clarity.
