EPAM Georgia is seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to build data-driven products that enable the measurement of store operations health and facilitate regular improvement-focused reviews for the business
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Data Software Engineering with strong proficiency in technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apache Spark, and Python
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data pipeline development, and cloud-based architecture
- Working knowledge of other data-related architectures (e.g., Data Lake, Data Hub)
- Strong SQL and software design skills are a plus
- Hands-on experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps practices
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data products and services following best practice development methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule and within budget
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards for quality and reliability
- Conduct code reviews and perform rigorous testing to ensure software functionality and stability
- Produce well-documented technical designs and development plans
- Analyze root causes of software development issues and implement feedback loops to improve code quality
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
