Peraton is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Programmer to develop and maintain applications providing ETL services in support of the Postal Data Assets Services group for the USPS TSS program
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Web API development, BI metrics and/or dashboard design and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of Microstrategy and other OLAP tools that interact with Teradata
- Ten (10) years experience in software development
- Experience authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals and user manuals
Responsibilities
- Performing sorting, reading and analyzing of streaming data
- Performing BI metric and/or dashboard design and performance tuning.
- Development of graphs, plans, PSETs and developing tests and debug.
- Performing PDL scripting
- Utilizing UNIX commands and concepts in order to navigate source code directories, find error logs, perform impact analysis assessments, edit code, version files.
- Performing Linux shell scripting in order to read and create driver scripts
Other
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years experience, or high school diploma with 14+ years experience
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder (Must have resided in the U.S. the past five years with no more than six months outside travel of the U.S. during this time frame)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel
