Vista Community Clinic is looking to improve its reporting capabilities to support clinical and provider units by developing and preparing reports using available analytics and data mining tools.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2, Transact-SQL, and SQL Server Analysis Services
- Minimum one year experience working within a healthcare setting or with clinical processes
- Minimum one year experience with data modeling and query optimization
- Data analysis, data presentation, spread sheet and database capabilities.
- Working knowledge of data analysis, study methodology, and preparing professional documents.
- Basic understanding of statistical methods
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full report generation process; analysis, definition of requirements, development, documentation, testing, deployment and support.
- Perform technical, application support to all locations in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and prepare reports to support VCC clinical and provider units utilizing available analytics and data mining tools, including but not limited to: NextGen Healthcare, Microsoft Applications and Crystal Reports, system-specific reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or other related reporting software.
- Work to develop and understand data requirements and report specifications
- Prepare statistical reports, narrative reports, or graphic presentations of data to provide useful information and commentary for internal purposes, reporting and external stakeholders as requested
- Develop analytics related to the health plan data

- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license and vehicle insurance; reliable transportation, to travel for meetings and/or to gather information for reporting purposes
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
