FIS Management Services, LLC seeks to solve database management and performance issues, including database encryption, replication, and optimization, to support their financial card system products.
Requirements
- Utilizing Oracle Database Administration for installations, upgrades, backups, recoveries, and performance tuning
- Configuring storage disks
- Monitoring usage and installing with Cloud Technologies (Azure) and configuring Oracle databases
- Setting up bi-directional data replication between 2 availability zones with Golden Gate Replication
- Setting up disaster recovery solution with RPO and RTO with Oracle Dataguard
- Utilizing Oracle Exadata/ZFS for Appliance patching / database install & configuration
- Working with Oracle Zero Data Loss to meet database recovery point objectives & recovery time objectives
Responsibilities
- Perform database replay Oracle data replication experience with Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and Goldengate
- Work with Oracle Grid Control for monitoring, configuration and deployment
- Design, program, debug, and modifying software enhancements
- Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability through effective database design, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques
- Ensure database compliance per PCI compliance
- Implement database performance tuning and optimization (table partitioning, tablespace disk management, table fragmentation)
- Participate in process of creation of efficient normalized and denormalized table definitions
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies
