ECS is seeking a Sr. Developer to provide custom Java application development expertise as well as automation and cloud migration support.
Requirements
- 7+ years' integration, systems analysis, or programming experience
- 5+ years' debugging and managing Services / Applications in Production environments
- 3+ years' experience with Springboot/Apache/Tomcat
- Experience creating/working with custom Golang applications
- Experience supporting/creating REST and SOAP applications
- Experience with developing and maintaining customer facing applications
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and phase-based delivery methods
Responsibilities
- Develop custom Golang applications, per client specifications
- Identify and develop enhancements to existing applications
- Develop software application tests and testing strategies
- Script solutions to automate manual processes
- Follow and instruct others on version control processes
- Develop solutions to strengthen the security in and around applications
- Leverage application metrics to inform technical and business decisions
Other
- Work directly with clients to provide engineering solutions and debugging support
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance
- Analyze industry specific requirements/technologies and provide insight
- Experience with Test Driven Development
