9th Way Insignia is seeking a Senior Developer to support the Consolidated Corporate Support Services (CCSS) 2.0 contract for the Department of Veterans Affairs, leading technical implementation efforts across a suite of enterprise applications that support VA financial and administrative systems.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Java, .NET, or other enterprise-level development stacks.
- Expertise in Agile development frameworks and tools such as JIRA and GitLab.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical teams.
- BD degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
- 8 years of related professional experience.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and modules.
- Lead technical design discussions and review software architecture with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to DevSecOps implementation and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Develop RESTful APIs and support integration with external systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to ensure requirement alignment.
- Ensure solutions meet VA cybersecurity and accessibility (Section 508) requirements.

- BD degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
