The company is looking to solve the problem of building, maintaining, and evolving digital tools that power their service experience, specifically for customer-facing service pages, Progressive Web App (PWA) for vehicle inspections and service workflows, and an internal parts ordering system.
Requirements
- 5+ years of fullstack development experience, with strong proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies.
- Deep knowledge of Next.js, React, Node.js, and Python.
- Experience with GraphQL APIs and PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable architectures.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and version control (Git).
- Experience with PWA development or mobile-friendly web apps.
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or Google Cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural discussions and define best practices for fullstack development within your pod.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.
- Develop and maintain modern, performant applications using Next.js, Node.js, Python, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Build and maintain reusable components, APIs, and data access layers.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring junior developers.
- Identify and address technical debt, security risks, and scalability challenges.
- Help shape the technical direction and roadmap for service-related digital products.
