Kemper is seeking to modernize legacy systems and enhance automation capabilities through the implementation of IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and architecture.
- Expertise in IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow) – workflow design, solution integration, and deployment required.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) for backend development.
- Exposure to Python and Generative AI tools or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, etc.).
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud stack and cloud-native development patterns.
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of solutions built using IBM BAW.
- Develop robust, scalable backend services primarily using Java.
- Leverage AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB, etc.) to build secure and cloud-native applications.
- Provide technical leadership on automation and workflow optimization initiatives.
- Participate in the modernization of legacy systems using modern tech stacks and architectural best practices.
- Explore and integrate GenAI capabilities to drive intelligent process automation and data-driven decision-making.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
