Senseye is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Developer to architect, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-native applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Research, and Machine Learning, to drive innovation in cloud engineering and support the development of the world's first objective mental health diagnostic platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with significant expertise building and deploying production-grade cloud applications on AWS.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS services: IAM, S3, Lambda, Containers (ECS/EKS), SQS, SNS, RDS, Cognito, API Gateway, and Route 53.
- Proven history of successful production deployments and long-term operations in AWS environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance in regulated environments (FDA, SEC, or equivalent).
- Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Proficiency in Python and strong object-oriented/data structure fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, ideally Buddy and Git-based workflows.
Responsibilities
- Define, build, test, and deploy innovative cloud-native applications and services leveraging AWS infrastructure.
- Partner with Product, Research, and Machine Learning teams in designing and delivering scalable solutions that meet internal and external needs.
- Provide expert-level technical input on architecture, design, and implementation of high-quality cloud applications that excel in scalability, performance, and security.
- Actively participate in the agile software development process to ensure timely and successful delivery of features.
- Use best practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and secure code.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Git and Buddy to streamline deployments.
