Requirements
- Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with modern technologies like microservices, APIs, or event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with COBOL, RPG, JCL, and related mainframe technologies
- Experience in hybrid teams involving legacy and cloud modernization
- Familiarity with API integration, batch-to-stream conversion, or legacy wrapper patterns
- Knowledge of cloud-native development principles and practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Support cloud-native development teams during the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
- Interpret, understand, and replatform complex business logic and batch processes
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to bring deep expertise in COBOL, RPG, JCL, and related mainframe technologies
- Help cloud engineers understand and work with legacy systems
- Participate in hybrid teams involving legacy and cloud modernization
- Work on API integration, batch-to-stream conversion, or legacy wrapper patterns
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to design and implement modern architectures
