Requirements
- 5 + years of experience in software development, with a focus on COBOL, TAL, and TACL.
- Strong knowledge of Tandem/HP NonStop systems.
- Experience in transaction processing systems and batch programming.
- Proficiency with SQL/Enscribe databases (NonStop SQL preferred).
- Familiarity with Guardian OS and Tandem utilities.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in large-scale production environments.
- Exposure to modernization efforts (APIs, microservices, or cloud integration with legacy systems).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, TAL, and TACL.
- Enhance and modernize legacy systems while ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance in production environments.
- Document technical designs, processes, and best practices.
- Support deployments, production incidents, and system upgrades.

- Background in banking, financial services, or payments systems.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
