AccessHope is seeking a Senior Developer, Full Stack to contribute to the development of innovative and impactful software applications that remotely connect employees with cancer support services from National Cancer Institute (NCI)–Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks.
- Experience with server-side languages and frameworks (Python with FastAPI preferred).
- Experience with DevOps integration using CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing frameworks.
- Database design and management skills (SQL and NoSQL databases). Experience with PostgreSQL preferred.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.
- Proficient in leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to accelerate coding workflows, improve code quality, and enhance team productivity across the full stack.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Implement user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (NextJS with React preferred) to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Develop server-side logic and APIs using backend technologies
- Develop, deploy and manage full-stack applications on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation.
- Design and implement database solutions, ensuring data storage, retrieval, and overall system efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and other developers, to bring projects from conception to completion.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
