United Airlines is looking to support and enhance enterprise finance systems across Oracle ERP (Fusion) and EBS and future ERP platforms, specifically in finance transformation initiatives such as Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign, Fixed Assets implementation, and Procure-to-Pay modernization.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (EBS and/or Fusion), including technical and functional responsibilities
  • 4+ years involvement in end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementations, especially in finance and procurement domains
  • Proven experience with Chart of Accounts redesign, Fixed Assets implementation, and Procure-to-Pay modules on Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud
  • Strong background in building and supporting customizations (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions – FRICE), DFFs, interface tables, and BI Publisher reports
  • Demonstrated ability to support data migration and mapping efforts using Oracle Data Hub
  • Experience working in environments with coexisting legacy and cloud ERP platforms
  • Experience with PL/SQL, SOA Suite, OIC, and REST/SOAP APIs

Responsibilities

  • Leads on the designs, development, coding, testing and debugging of software applications/systems to meet the specifications.
  • Monitors system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of applications.
  • Partners and collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Manages the design, architecture and build phases aimed at producing high quality deliverables.
  • Owns the software documentation and user manuals.
  • Evaluating and integrating new technologies into existing development practices as well as Maintaining, updating, and improving existing software.
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to system integration and performance.
