Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking a Senior Developer to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using Java, XML, HTML, and related technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in solution design and hands-on development of web applications using Java EE and JBoss Server.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis & Design, UML, Eclipse, SOAP, REST (Apache CXF), and Java frameworks like Spring or similar.
- Experience developing web and mobile projects using Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Web Services, Hibernate, JavaScript, AJAX, and JQuery.
- Integration experience using Web Services/SOA and EJB on JBoss.
- Strong backend experience with frameworks like Hibernate or JPA and database knowledge including SQL and stored procedures.
- Experience in AGILE project development.
- Experience with Oracle, Unix Shell scripting, and SQL tuning.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using Java, XML, HTML, and related technologies.
- Analyze requests for new systems or maintenance, determine feasibility, and document input/output procedures.
- Test programs, prepare test data, review results, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write test plans, task lists, and status reports as required.
- Provide production support, including evaluating defects, investigating causes, and implementing solutions.
