The Boeing Company's Specialized United States Infrastructure Operations organization is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer to drive cloud transformation for its Air Dominance (AD) program, focusing on creating innovative DevSecOps patterns and automating processes for efficient and secure cloud initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps)
- 3+ years of experience with scripting programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps software including Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipelines, AWS CodeGuru
- 3+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- 3+ years of experience working within an Agile development team
- 1+ years of experience in integrating security tools like SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and automation tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef etc.)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for COTS and custom-built applications
- Integrate DevSecOps tools to automate security checks and vulnerability assessments within the CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product teams, to ensure security is embedded in all phases of the application lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevSecOps practitioners, promoting best practices in automation, security, and cloud operations
- Enhance operational security by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Participate in Agile SAFE ceremonies, providing input on security and automation best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD processes, security tools, and operational security
Other
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevSecOps practitioners
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Current certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or Docker Certified Associate
- This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
