SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to support Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities for the US Space Force (USSF) satellite communications next generation systems, focusing on integrating complex space and ground communications systems.
Requirements
- 7 years of DevOps software development and infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in maintaining CI/CD pipelines with security best practices (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Help with release management and deployment of microservices in a Kubernetes environment (AWS EKS, Azure AKS).
- Strong knowledge of Helm charts for deployment of Docker-based microservices.
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance helm charts for deployment of Docker-based microservices.
- Help with release management and deployment of microservices in a Kubernetes environment (AWS EKS, Azure AKS).
- Help with vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, and incident response automation.
- Work with developers to implement secure coding practices and application security testing.
- Deploy DevOps practices for automating the software engineering practices across multiple projects.
- Ensure we have solid, foundational processes in place.
- Stand up agile development teams and will oversee the instantiation of DevOps pipelines in both on-prem and cloud environments.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required for this position
- BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience
