Generac is looking to lead digital experience strategy for a large business unit or complex solution to find efficiencies and ensure scalable approaches, identify growth opportunities, and drive product innovation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital product management
  • Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle and driving product initiatives from concept to completion autonomously.
  • Experience with analytics, roadmaps, and scaling product features.
  • Advanced understanding of product management practices, user-centered design, and business models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to articulate a business case to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including relevant product and market information tailored to the audience.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritization of roadmap across multiple business units leveraging business goals, data, and industry information
  • Draft requirements for and partner with design and development
  • Deliver under an Agile, Scrum and Iterative framework
  • Act as the digital experience subject matter expert across a portfolio of products and solutions.
  • Identify needs and pain points of users and translate those into detailed user stories, which capture both business objectives and user needs, and can be clearly defined and understood by the development team.
  • Provide strategic direction on content optimization, personalization and testing strategies.
  • Work closely with design, development, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

  • Significant experience improving digital products based on performance analysis
  • Successfully balance the needs of the customers and stakeholders and articulate how we are meeting and exceeding their needs
  • Work autonomously and collaborate with key cross functional business partners including leadership to drive opportunities for growth.
  • Mentor other product managers and guide them to utilize research, data and product management best practices.
  • Guide stakeholders to focus on customer needs and communicate product updates and insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a user-first mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Occasional travel.
