Lionbridge is seeking a Senior Director, North American Sales – AI & Machine Learning to lead and grow its team of Enterprise Account Executives, focused on acquiring new customers for its cutting-edge AI Data Services and shaping the go-to-market strategy for the AI and Machine Learning segment.
Requirements
- Strong preference for experience in AI/ML services, data-centric technologies, or technical consulting in emerging tech fields.
- Proven track record of building scalable sales engines and exceeding quota in complex, B2B solution-selling environments.
- Ability to craft and communicate differentiated messaging that solves real-world problems for technical and business stakeholders alike.
- Experience working cross-functionally to support strategic sales initiatives, including pricing, legal, product, and operations alignment.
- Comfortability using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and forecasting tools to measure and manage performance.
- Passion for AI, ML, and data transformation, with a curiosity to stay ahead of the curve.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Enterprise Account Executives focused on winning new logos in the AI and Machine Learning data services space.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting enterprise customers seeking high-quality AI training data, human-in-the-loop services, and multilingual data solutions.
- Build a culture of curiosity, persistence, and accountability—guiding your team through the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
- Support and drive high-value opportunities, bringing executive presence and deal strategy to key customer engagements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Solutions, Delivery, and Marketing teams to align messaging, accelerate sales cycles, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Create and maintain clear sales performance metrics and KPIs that ensure forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and sustainable revenue growth.
- Identify emerging customer needs and industry trends to inform go-to-market strategy, outreach campaigns, and resource alignment.

- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with at least 5+ years leading high-performing sales teams focused on new business acquisition.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on coaching, culture, and execution.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to support team and customer engagements.
- The target candidate will be located in California, Washington, or a nearby Western U.S. State.
- This is a remote role that will require travel to customer sites as needed.
