Frontier is seeking a director to lead their rapidly growing AI practice, developing new business, managing relationships with existing clients, leading a team of engineers and advisors, and pioneering new capability development.
Requirements
- Background in a relevant field (e.g. AI, computer science, engineering)
- Experience with AI safety and security landscape
- Familiarity with the AI & national security landscape
- Fluency in the language of top AI firms and/or national security communities
- Experience with proposal writing, particularly for the federal government
- Business development or management experience
- Clearance through the U.S. government
Responsibilities
- Growing the AI and technology business
- Ensuring the successful delivery of existing work and follow-on contracts
- Leading the delivery of AI client engagement
- Managing key client relationships
- Cultivating deep technical expertise in AI safety and related solutions
- Developing strategic plans and business development roadmaps for Frontier AI
- Managing strategic partnerships and hiring personnel
Other
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 7+ years of experience or 5+ years of experience with a Master's degree
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with key internal and external contacts
- U.S. citizenship is a requirement for DOD security clearance eligibility
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective and trusted working relationships
