Capital One Software is exploring how its internal solutions across cloud, data, governance, and applications could serve the needs of other companies born or built in the cloud, and requires financial leadership to evaluate expected return on investment for various initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
- At least 5 years of people management experience
- 10+ years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
- 10+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports
- 5+ year of experience working with Startups
Responsibilities
- Create guardrails to forecast revenue, and the marginal cost of adding new products
- Drives multiple projects by providing thought leadership and working closely with highly specialized subject matter experts across strategy, finance, and corporate development
- Communicates analytic insights through clear, high impact, “executive-ready” presentations - Develops analytic frameworks to solve critical questions and guide strategic decision making
- Leverages sound business judgment and logic to evaluate analytical results and formulate recommendations which include supporting rationale
- Builds relationships across the organization by partnering with peers and senior leaders throughout the company
- Lead and build a team of associates to support the business
Other
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 12 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Strategy Consulting, or a combination
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
