Pattern, Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Director of Software Engineering to direct and manage a large, global software engineering team, drive the strategic vision and technical direction of engineering initiatives for ecommerce analytics software, Predict, by architecting a system that can scale.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of software architecture and development methodologies

Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic vision and technical direction of engineering initiatives for ecommerce analytics software, Predict, by architecting a system that can scale.
- Oversee the development, execution, and delivery of software projects, managing the SDLC, ensuring timely releases, high quality, and adherence to best practices.
- Apply expertise in performance management and operational metrics to promote a strong focus on software quality, scalability, security, and performance, with regular assessments and improvements to engineering practices.
- Provide leadership in identifying and mitigating risks, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring teams are equipped with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
- Recruit and hire top level talent to ensure the highest quality.
Other
- Utilize executive-level engineering leadership experience to direct and manage a large, global software engineering team, with direct oversight of approximately 8 engineers in the U.S. and 40 in India.
- Ensure organizational efficiency by streamlining processes, optimizing team structures, and managing resources effectively.
- Requires Master of Business Administration, Engineering, or closely related field and 120 months of experience as Senior Systems Development Manager, Senior Director of Software Delivery, Director of Software Automation, Director of Development Operations, Software Development Manager, or Technical Architect Manager.
- Also requires at least 60 months (may be gained concurrently with the experience required above) of executive-level engineering leadership experience
