Onbe, a FinTech company, is seeking a Senior Director of Software Development to provide leadership and technical expertise to drive innovation and transform how payments are imagined and executed, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions that align with company goals.
Requirements
- 10 years in leading software development teams and delivering sophisticated software projects.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and design.
- Strong experience in digital transformation converting monolithic into microservice architectures in medium to large scale organization
- Strong experience and passion for utilizing AI in every aspect of SDLC to improve the velocity & quality of development.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership across multiple software development teams.
- Establish and implement software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to ensure robust and reliable software solutions.
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineering leaders and managers to grow technical and leadership capabilities within the organization.
- Supervise and analyze metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Define and complete the software development strategy in alignment with Onbe's goals.
- Pursue constant improvement & transformation in architecture & availability of the platform.
- Lead engineering goals towards improving velocity & quality with AI transformation

- This is a hybrid role that will work onsite 2 days per week at our Plano, TX office.
- Occasional travel may be required as part of this position.
