Requirements
- Experience leading complex software engineering projects from inception to production.
- Professional experience in software delivery, specializing in the development of customer-facing applications using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong proficiency in agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to think bigger, develop and drive strategy at the ecosystem level.
- Demonstrated ability to scope, schedule, and resource multiple complex projects.
- Working understanding of core concepts related to Web Development, Machine Learning/AI, and Data Engineering.
- Experience growing and maturing software engineering teams to efficiently deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Employ modern technologies, architectures, and agile methodologies to drive solution design and delivery, enhancing patient experiences.
- Collaborate with user experience and technology foundation teams to ensure products effectively address patients' needs.
- Guide the team's work, resourcing, budgeting, and help solve complex problems, ensuring delivery success.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to develop and influence roadmaps and release plans.
- Drive process change by continuously evaluating and enhancing software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Set clear objectives, scope, and schedules, ensuring the team's understanding of expectations and priorities.
- Maximize the potential of the team by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
- 5+ years working in software delivery leadership roles.
- Experience with web and cloud technologies.
- This role is located in Indianapolis, IN (relocation required).
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas in both technical and non-technical contexts.
