BNY needs to build and maintain strategic partnerships with key engineering technology providers to drive commercial value, enhance partner delivery, foster innovation, and ensure client satisfaction within their Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of technical and/or management experience
  • Proven track record in partner‐relationship management within engineering or technology sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive value through technology partnerships.
  • Ability to analyze market data, internal performance and competitor intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
  • Experience fostering innovation, co-development initiatives and executive-level engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains strong, strategic partnerships with key engineering technology providers and provides strategic support to technology deployment and adoption within Engineering.
  • Develop and sustain deep, strategic relationships with third-party engineering partners (infrastructure, software, AI) and align them to BNY’s goals and priorities.
  • Develop and manage relationship management framework for key partners including operational, strategic and executive levels to reinforce service delivery, maximize commercial value and enable innovation.
  • Identify, evaluate and pursue co-innovation and co-development opportunities that enhance engineering capabilities and competitive advantage.
  • Stay informed on market trends, partner capabilities and emerging technologies—partnering with SPIN where appropriate to monitor startups and innovations.
  • Facilitate forums and communication between partners and engineering teams to build understanding on available technology and support innovation.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (or equivalent work experience); advanced degree preferred.
  • experience in the securities or financial‐services industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across diverse teams and functions.
  • The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $280,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
