C.H Robinson is seeking to develop and maintain workflows connecting thousands of trading partners with their core suite of transportation management systems
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with writing logic and scripting (Java, JavaScript, VBScript, SQL) and data manipulation
- 1+ year of EDI development experience
- Applied knowledge of data formats such as EDI/ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, XML, and flat file layouts
- Skilled in the use of mapping software and tools such as EDIFECS, Sterling Integrator (SI), Sterling B2B or other translation platform tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Experience with object-oriented programming principles
- Applied knowledge working with API technology
Responsibilities
- Drive the creation of processes and standard specifications that define best practices for electronic integrations with external partners
- Work with internal and external clients to create digital connections for Trading Partners per requirements and feedback
- Collaborate with business analysts, application teams, and infrastructure specialists to deliver complex data translations and innovative workflow solutions
- Develop and maintain/enhance end to end data flow processes, maps, and artifacts used for data transformation
- Understand application interfaces and effectively utilize a broad range of available tools
- Perform analysis and document requirements and business case to create new interfaces
- Manage development and deployment timelines, identifies, and communicates changes, and escalates issues appropriately
Other
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS, Software Engineering, or other technology degree
- Effective and flexible communication skills
- Able to take technical details and make them understandable to non-technical internal and external facing individuals
- Ability to document business processes, training materials and technical processes
- Facilitation skills; able to run meetings with project partners
