Requirements
- demonstrated ability in embedded software collaborating with hardware.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Fundamental electrical engineering knowledge.
- Comprehension of analog circuitry.
- Familiarity with lab equipment, schematic, and PCB layout.
- Knowledge of PCIe and Linux kernel/module/driver.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash.
Responsibilities
- Craft new and modify existing equipment in cross-discipline design teams (software, electrical, control, and mechanical engineers).
- Develop documentation for your designs, modify, test, and debug kernel modules and drivers.
- Develop code in C, C++, Bash, and Python on bare metal and under RHEL-compatible Linux distros in containers.
- Manufacture and support equipment in collaboration with New Product Introduction, Field Service, and Operation teams.
- Innovate and keep Micron driven by providing outstanding solutions that no one else has addressed.
- Support and improve existing designs, responding to manufacturing and production needs.
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded software collaborating with hardware.
- Expertise with Linux and GNU toolchain.
- Knowledge of collaboratively working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, SMUs.
- Advanced proficiency in analog circuitry and calibration.
