Requirements
- Demonstrated experience of embedded software design and implementation.
- Experience in embedded software development following IEC 62304
- Digital circuit design knowledge
- Experience developing embedded solutions in embedded C
- Experience with unit test development, DevOps, and Python
- Medical device development experience, design control, FDA and MDR regulations
- Experience implementing safety risk management including SFMEAs and cybersecurity risk management
Responsibilities
- You will architect, design, develop, test, document, and maintain embedded systems using mixed-signal MCUs for oximetry platforms
- You will apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the embedded system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and wide range of products.
- You may engage with internal and external stakeholders, including interfacing with clinicians, customers, and KOLs, to better understand use environments and needs.
- You will apply a thorough understanding of technologies used to measure physiological signals and knowledge of human physiology to inform product design decisions, prioritize design tradeoffs, provide strategic input on the development pathway, and ensure alignment with use cases/use scenarios.
- You will engage with stakeholders and system engineering to capture and prioritize needs and then synthesize the needs into oximetry features and products.
- You will implement embedded software that maximizes the value of our Oximetry + Wearable products for our customers.
- You will work in a team environment both locally and globally.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or related engineering/science degree with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
