ALTEN Technology USA is looking to solve technical engineering challenges in the medical devices industry by designing, developing, and testing embedded software solutions for advanced medical devices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficient in C, C++, and Python.
- Demonstrated experience with a variety of embedded hardware platforms
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking systems (Jira).
- 2+ years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical, aviation, automotive, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software across the full software development lifecycle
- Generate software requirements, architecture & design documentation, source code, and unit tests
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in an embedded systems environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system engineers, and QA to define and deliver complete solutions
- Adhere to medical device software development processes and standards.
- Architect and develop embedded software and/or firmware for systems built on Xilinx Zynq platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Location: Hybrid (3days), on-site (full-time onsite when hardware access is needed)
