Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes internals and Go.
- Experience operating Kubernetes platforms at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop the DigitalOcean Managed Kubernetes product.
- Develop back-end gRPC services written in Go deployed on Kubernetes.
- Design back-end services and author engineering design documents.
- Raise the bar for Operational Excellence.
- Independently lead projects.
- Navigate the complexity of distributed systems and operate them in production.
- Break the design documents into actionable epics and stories with estimates.

- The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills.
- You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
