Requirements
- Experience in prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and testing/tuning.
- Strong coding skills in relevant programming languages such as Python, along with experience in AI frameworks and libraries.
- Deep understanding of AI model development processes, including training, validation, and deployment of machine learning models.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical AI solutions that address real-world challenges.
- Implement task automation through the creation of smart AI Agent workflows and leveraging cutting edge Agent tooling like OpenAI SDK, CrewAI, MCP/A2A protocols etc
- Implement and maintain RAG systems for relevance and accuracy of AI model use cases, ensuring high-quality output.
- Lead efforts in fine-tuning AI models to specific domains or tasks, improving their performance and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Agentic Workflow creation: Implement task automation through the creation of smart AI Agent workflows and leveraging cutting edge Agent tooling like OpenAI SDK, CrewAI, MCP/A2A protocols etc
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Implement and maintain RAG systems for relevance and accuracy of AI model use cases, ensuring high-quality output.
- Model Fine-Tuning (SFT + RLHF): Lead efforts in fine-tuning AI models to specific domains or tasks, improving their performance and evaluation.
- Data Collection Workflows: Influence the design decisions on creation data collection workflows to fully leverage the treasure trove of data Athena has to offer
- Model Testing/Tuning: Design and execute rigorous testing protocols for AI models, and tune them to optimize for accuracy, speed, and relevance.
- Prompt Engineering: Develop and optimize AI prompts that effectively guide model behavior to achieve desired outcomes in various use cases and understanding how various SOTA LLM models react under different prompts
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into Athena’s product offerings.

- A master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field is highly desirable.
