Architect and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers a variety of nCino's solutions, working primarily with containerized applications. You'll be the technical backbone ensuring reliable, scalable infrastructure for business-critical lending platforms that serve financial institutions nationwide.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in at least one cloud platform (AWS strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in deployment, automation, and monitoring of containerized applications
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language and understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools
- Experience with DevOps methodologies
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or ECS
- Experience with relational databases
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers a variety of nCino's solutions, working primarily with containerized applications.
- Provide input on architectural decisions and guide team members around best practices.
- Incorporate the automated tests into applicable tickets and mentors other members of the team on automation strategies.
- Identify opportunities & Lead proof-of-concepts to demonstrate key functionality or validate critical technical aspects.
- Begin to consider scalability, maintainability, and best practices as the high-level design of the solution takes shape.
- Help choose technologies and tools used for the project.
- Consistently design code that is aligned with the overall service architecture.

- This role involves both strategic infrastructure planning and hands-on problem-solving, from optimizing container deployments to implementing Infrastructure as Code practices that support rapid product development.
- Your day-to-day includes collaborating with development teams to enhance their experience, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure challenges.
- You'll help shape technical strategies for adopting new technologies while maintaining the high availability standards that lending operations demand.
- This position requires someone comfortable with both independent technical work and cross-team collaboration, plus participation in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 system reliability.
