OneMain Financial is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions, driving cloud transformation initiatives and integrating reliability and security into their systems.

Requirements

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, or Shell.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Terraform
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks
• Solid knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Work directly with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
• Translate technical specifications into detailed architectural diagrams and implementation roadmaps.
• Design and implement solutions that are fault-tolerant, highly available, and capable of auto-scaling.
• Lead architectural discussions and influence key technical decisions.
• Guide development and DevOps teams through solution implementation and cloud adoption.
• Define and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Enforce security by design, applying AWS-native security tools, IAM policies, and encryption standards.

Other

• 3-5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering with expertise in managing hybrid and on-prem infrastructure in addition to cloud-based systems.
• Ensure adherence to industry and organizational compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST).
• Target base salary range is xx-xx, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience.
