Entegris is looking to build a world-class supplier quality organization by assessing and managing supplier risk, quality performance, and improvement to ensure the continuity of both Entegris and its customers' supply chain for critical raw materials used in semiconductor applications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of statistical software like Minitab, JMP strongly preferred.
- The candidate should demonstrate a deep technical understanding of chemical manufacturing with experience in organic and inorganic chemistries.
- Direct experience with supplier quality management
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in chemical, manufacturing, automotive, semiconductor industry or related high-tech industry
Responsibilities
- Support new product development and the existing supplier base to lead onsite assessment and qualification of materials suppliers, identifying gaps/opportunities, driving gap closure and continuous improvement actions/projects.
- Understand the supplier’s processes and how the raw material has an impact on Entegris products and customers’ application.
- Drive technical improvements and own technical reviews when required working closely with R&D
- Drive advanced quality planning and process of record documentation with critical/strategic suppliers.
- Own supplier process control system reviews (SPC trend reviews, metrology/SPC systems reviews).
- Initiate, coordinate, drive and own supplier change notification through the Entegris internal change control system and supplier communication.
- Proactively assess supplier risk and plan for appropriate risk mitigation
