Paylocity is looking to enhance communication and enable employees to connect, collaborate, and create from anywhere, by developing and improving their Benefits platform, and resolving complex support tickets that require SQL scripting and C-Sharp development to correct data issues and improve system stability.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in software development languages and frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
- C-Sharp, Java, SQL, .NET, or a similar modern object-oriented programming language
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause resolution
- Experience working in support, production troubleshooting, or DevOps environments
- Ability to write efficient, scalable SQL queries and stored procedures
Responsibilities
- Gain deep knowledge of Benefits databases and software
- Develop and refine SQL scripts to correct data issues
- Investigate and resolve support tickets, identifying patterns to prevent future issues
- Contribute to system stability through automation and process improvements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on best practices and technical decisions
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate across teams to enhance engineering standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using SQL and C-Sharp

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience
- Proven track record of leading significant technical initiatives

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
