Collins Aerospace is looking to solve complex software and systems problems in avionics products
Requirements
- Must possess at least 3 years of experience with DO-178 B/C certification
- Must possess at least 3 years of experience with writing python scripts, debugging on test stands and their configurations
- Must possess at least 3 years of experience with programming in C/C++ in developing avionics software, (display software) and systems
- Must possess at least 3 years of experience in software verification and structural coverage analysis, as well as experience with Model Based Development (MBD)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Primary Flight Displays, Maps, Windows Manager and Video and maintaining these applications
- Responsible for Model-Based software development with Simulink and testing/verification using python and harness environments using C/C++
- Responsible for architecting, designing, developing and testing embedded software in avionics products
- Collaborate on software requirements and design
- Implant and test software
- Help solve complex software and systems problems
Other
- Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role
- Non-US Person - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future
