Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building tools, platforms, or processes that significantly improve developer velocity and code quality.
- A technical leader with 6+ years of experience directly leading geographically distributed teams and staff-level engineers.
- Skilled in using metrics to guide improvements, with familiarity in modern DevOps tooling and cloud platforms.
- Experience successfully leading major infrastructure or platform transitions.
- Proven track record of building tools, platforms, or processes that significantly improve developer velocity and code quality.
- Familiarity in modern DevOps tooling and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain tools, frameworks, and processes that streamline the feature development lifecycle
- Reduce the need for manual intervention for large scale changes
- Partner closely with customers to ensure they understand the most impactful areas of opportunity to solve for
- Set long-term goals for developer productivity initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership
- Research and apply cutting-edge frameworks, tools, and practices to increase code quality and delivery speed
- Oversee technical decisions to ensure robust, scalable tools supporting rapid feature delivery
- Automate processes to reduce manual effort and foster a culture of responsible engineering
