The company is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team developing cutting-edge technology for the Korry product line, focusing on integrated aerospace displays, airborne computing, avionics, and optical systems.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, systems, software or test).
  • Demonstrated experience with industry standards (e.g., ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254) and export regulations (ITAR).
  • Proven ability to manage technical, cost, and schedule performance on complex development and sustaining programs.
  • A successful track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the design, development, and testing of next-generation aerospace products.
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality, cost-effective, and robust solutions that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate business strategy and technology roadmap into actionable goals for the team.
  • Implement best practices to improve engineering efficiency and streamline the New Product Development (NPD) process.
  • Collaborate with other business units and senior leadership to align on product development and production support.
  • Ensure engineers have the resources and support needed to thrive and guide the team through complex challenges.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office.
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
