The company is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team developing cutting-edge technology for the Korry product line, focusing on integrated aerospace displays, airborne computing, avionics, and optical systems.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, systems, software or test).
- Demonstrated experience with industry standards (e.g., ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254) and export regulations (ITAR).
- Proven ability to manage technical, cost, and schedule performance on complex development and sustaining programs.
- A successful track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the design, development, and testing of next-generation aerospace products.
- Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality, cost-effective, and robust solutions that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
- Translate business strategy and technology roadmap into actionable goals for the team.
- Implement best practices to improve engineering efficiency and streamline the New Product Development (NPD) process.
- Collaborate with other business units and senior leadership to align on product development and production support.
- Ensure engineers have the resources and support needed to thrive and guide the team through complex challenges.
