BD is looking to solve the problem of maintaining site assets and sustaining overall plant operations and infrastructure by leading the plant Asset Care team and driving plant-wide maintenance activities.
Requirements
- BA/ BS degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Background in statistical Process Control
- Must have knowledge in MS Office Suite, Risk Analysis: FMEAS, Validations, and Improvement Methodologies
- PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, OSHA certifications (Preferred)
- Master's degree (Preferred)
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and asset management principles
- Experience with maintenance management systems and CMMS
Responsibilities
- Responsible for site-wide planned maintenance strategy and execution.
- Build a high performing technical team that helps meet or exceed operational objectives (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost).
- Ensure that equipment is running efficiently and effectively by confirming Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) are completed thoroughly and on time.
- Provide leadership over Tool Crib operations, ensuring targeted inventory levels for spare parts are well maintained.
- Actively drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and performance and help achieve plant objectives for change to win (C2W) savings.
- Monitor and control site Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), failure trends and maintenance costs to identify priorities, possible asset modification or decommissioning required.
- Achieve a high level of PM compliance as per targeted objectives.

- 5 years managerial experience
- 5 years in a pharmaceutical regulated industry
- Bilingual. Good oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
